Paraview Behavioral Health provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children, teens, and adults. We see patients in person at our Frederick office on Thomas Johnson Drive and by secure video anywhere in Maryland.
There is no one-size-fits-all in mental health. We match you with the provider and approach that fit what you are actually working on, and we coordinate with your therapist so the plan fits together. New-patient visits run a full 60 minutes, so there is time to understand your history, prior treatments, and goals before any plan or prescription.
We are in-network with most major insurance plans in Maryland, including Aetna, Cigna, Humana, UnitedHealthcare, Johns Hopkins Health Plans, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, Medicare, and Maryland Medicaid, and we help verify coverage before your first visit.

Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. We are accepting new patients for psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, and ADHD.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. New-patient evaluations and follow-ups can be done by secure video anywhere in Maryland, or in person at our Frederick office.
How long until my first appointment?
We aim to reach every new inquiry the next business day. Time to first appointment is typically 3 to 7 days, depending on insurance verification and provider availability.
Can you take a referral from another provider?
Yes. We welcome referrals from primary care, hospitals, schools, and other clinicians and handle intake and insurance verification from there.
